Inbox started off in 2001 and set out to redefine Pakistan’s computing industry with the first local computer brand – the Inbox PC. Inbox PC bridged the gap between the Multi- National PC brands and the unbranded PC segment, bringing the customers economical, top-quality desktops and laptops.
Although the name Inbox is still synonymous with affordable and reliable desktops, Inbox Business Technologies has come a long way since its startup days.
Inbox is now bigger, better and bolder.
In 2004, The Dawood Group acquired a majority stake in Inbox Business Technologies, giving us the financial leverage to truly evolve into an organization that can play a dominant role in the local IT industry. From fifteen, Inbox Business Technologies has grown to almost four hundred strong people company.
In 2005, Inbox acquired ThreeSixtyDegreez - a reputable software house in order to diversify our portfolio and took the first step towards becoming a truly end-to-end technology solutions company.
In 2006, we established enterprise partnership with Oracle and began offering Enterprise Resource Planning solutions. We also enhanced our partnership with Microsoft to become Microsoft Gold Certified partner and Large Account Resellers. While, we kept our focus on expanding into further domains, we made sure our present areas stay focused.
In 2007, we began offering Outsourcing solutions to enterprises with customized support and services as a value-add and instantly, Inbox gained trust within the domain. We built our strength in serving enterprise customers and set up an elaborate nationwide call center to provide extensive support and services even at the most remote locations in Pakistan.
In 2008, we partnered with other international brands like Acer Computers for offering their hardware, LANDesk for their Management Enterprise Suite, Blue Coat Systems for their Security solutions, ATI for Health Information and Management solution, and Prolink for Human Resource Management solution.
Inbox has been awarded the Superbrands Status in 2007, and subsequently Brands of the Year Award in 2008, the only local technology company to receive these coveted status.
